About Sparx Services

Sparx Support Services is a platform created to embrace students with every step they make on their academic journey. Utilizing the Common Core Standard along with customizing materials tailored to the 4 learning styles (visual, auditory, read/write, and kinesthetic).

After introductory evaluation, we use review in our guide for teaching material in for the subject focus. Facilitated by highly qualified educator, support staff and administrators. We operate using the 4 functions of focus; spark learning, spark teamwork, spark growth, and spark achievement.

Operating over 4 years, we continue to grow and learn alongside our students.

Our Mission Statement

We are a community that prides ourselves in bridging the gap between education and developmental learning. Utilizing unique methods and curriculums to support all learn styles tailored to each student. We share our assessments and monitor progress with the parents encourage ongoing growth, and development at home as well.

At Sparx, we work together with the child's principals, teacher, parents and service providers to ensure all levels of support. This program was designed to encompass each child's academic and social/emotional well-being. Educators and parents do need additional resources when dealing with the unique methods of an IEP learner.

Special Education Teacher Support Services (SETSS)

SETSS provider works with students with a diagnosed learning disability in and outside the classroom. SETSS providers help students develop the required skills to learn alongside their peers in the classroom.

Direct services can be provided in the classroom in or a separate location. It involves individualized instruction (based on each student’s IEP) designed to develop a student’s compensatory skills and provide remediation.

This type of special education teacher support services NYC SETSS is critical in addressing learning gaps and deficits directly linked to or resulting from the student’s disability. The primary aim of providing direct services is to improve these areas of deficit and strengthen cognitive skills instead of additional academic help or tutoring.
